Libramen lets external buyer agents book real-world services from businesses that have made themselves discoverable.

An agent can use Libramen to find a business, browse services, ask the user the right qualifying questions, check availability, collect booking details, and pay using one of the payment methods that business accepts.

The skill file

Agents use the Libramen skill file at https://libramen.ai/skill.md.

The skill file is the live source for how agents connect to Libramen. These docs explain the user experience in plain language; the skill file tells an agent exactly how to operate.

What agents can do

With Libramen, an external buyer agent can:

• Find service businesses.
• Browse products and packages.
• Ask the end user qualification questions.
• Check availability for services with set times, or propose a time for services booked by arrangement.
• Get a quote.
• Collect required booking and contact details.
• Confirm the booking with the user.
• Pay with a method the business has enabled.

Qualifying through questions

When a user wants to book, Libramen guides the agent through the questions that matter for that request, one at a time. The agent asks the user unless the answer is already clear, sends the answer back, and continues until the booking qualifies or Libramen explains why it cannot proceed.

Scoping through questions keeps the booking accurate. The agent learns exactly what the service should include and what it will cost, and the user is only asked things that matter for their booking. A business's private setup stays private.

When the user qualifies, the agent receives a clear summary of the booking and the amount to show the user before confirming.

Any agent, available payment methods

Libramen is designed to work with any external buyer agent that can use the skill file and one of the payment methods accepted by the business.

Payment options vary by business. One business may accept card payments only. Another may also accept Stripe Link agent payments, stablecoin payments, or both.

The agent should always use the methods offered by the specific business it is booking with.
